THE REBEL - FROM LEIMEN TO WIMBLEDON

FEATURE FILM – 2020

In 1982, tennis coach Günther Bosch makes an extraordinary discovery on the court: a young Boris Becker, whose relentless ambition immediately captivates him. After an incident, Boris is assigned to train with the girls—a twist that changes his life forever. Bosch recognizes his potential and takes him under his wing. In 1985, their hard work pays off: Boris Becker becomes the youngest player ever to win the Wimbledon final, catapulting him to international stardom overnight. Bosch must now ensure that the Wimbledon victory is not a one-time triumph and that Boris’s career as a professional player stays on track despite the many challenges ahead.
