Alexis von Wittgenstein has been managing director and producer of Violet Pictures since January 2011.

Gilda Weller

Producer

Gilda Weller first realized several art installations and experimental films as a director during her art and film studies at the Hochschule für Gestaltung in Offenbach am Main. She exhibited her work in various galleries and museums such as the Frankfurter Kunstverein, the Satellit im Hamburger Bahnhof in Berlin and at the B3 Biennale des Bewegten Bildes in Frankfurt.

After graduating, she decided to focus for a while on the organizational activities of a film in order to gain experience in international productions. She worked for four years as a production assistant and production manager for various cinema and TV productions as well as series productions such as Bad Banks, Labaule and Erben, Eden or Greyzone.

After the instructive experience as a creative during her studies but also as an organizer on set, Gilda decided to take the path of production to combine the mixture of both. She completed the one-year producer masterclass “Atelier Ludwigsburg Paris” at the Filmakademie Baden Württemberg, La Femis in Paris and the National Film and Television School in London and has been working at Violet Pictures ever since
